The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring
On this episode of Cinedicate, we begin our journey towards Mount Doom. Carla, one of the talented hosts of WSTR: Galactic Public Access, joins this week to talk about the first film in her favorite film franchise, The Lord of the Rings.
From director Peter Jackson, The Fellowship of the Ring is an adaptation of the first book in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. After winning the bid to create the film version of Tolkien's work, Jackson would convince New Line Cinema to order a trilogy of movies for this epic tale.
Evil resurfaces as the Ring of Power, thought to be lost - suddenly resurfaces. Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) is called to be the ring-bearer in the newly formed fellowship to cast the ring into the firey depths of Mordor to destroy it, once and for all.
