At the top of the hour, Cinedicate opens with Madelyn's directorial debut with Toute Seule, a love-letter to French New Wave. We discuss her process and the story behind how she created her short film, as well as some peeks behind-the-scenes.

The main discussion will be on the Hulu/BBC Three co-production of Normal People, adapted from Sally Rooney's bestselling novel.
