From director Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator), adapted from the novella of the same name, From Beyond is a story of a sex-obsessed scientist, Dr. Pretorius (Ted Sorel) creates a machine to peer into other dimensions. After being killed by his own creation, his colleague Dr. Crawford (Katherine McMichaels (Barbara Crampton)) and psychiatrist Katherine McMichaels (Barbara Crampton, You're Next) attempt to uncover what happened to Pretorius while discovering the mysterious of this device, The Resonator.
